3M Jupiter Powered Air Purifying Respirator Discontinuation - June 2021

3M Versaflo TR-619A Powered Air Purifying Respirators supercedes Jupiter PAPR

3M will soon discontinue the Jupiter Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) unit.
The phased approach will begin with starter kits (June 2021) and continue onto consumables & filters (June 2022).
Parts and consumables will be available for a period for the 3M Jupiter PAPR system (while stocks last).

The 3M Jupiter PAPR will be replaced by the existing 3M Versaflo TR-619A PAPR.
The 3M Versaflo TR-619A PAPR will continue the 3M tradition of providing PAPR that ensure respiratory protection, safety, comfort and convenience in the workplace.




The 3M Versaflo TR-619A PAPR is available in starter kit form and can attach to the same M & S Series headtops as the Jupiter system.

• No, the Jupiter™ filters are not interchangeable with the Versaflo™Powered Air Respirator systems systems (TR-300+, TR-600 and TR800). Versaflo™ filters are specifically designed for use with Versaflo™ Powered Air Respirator systems. 

Can I use my current S-Series and M-Series headtops with Versaflo™ Powered Air Respirator systems?

• Yes, the S-Series and M-Series Headtops are suitable for use with TR300+, TR-600 and TR-800 Versaflo™ Powered Air Respirator systems. 

Can I use my current Jupiter™ Breathing Tubes with Versaflo™ Powered Air Respirator systems and Versaflo™ headtops?
